Archers at the Nunnery

Archers at the NunneryEvery year on four days in September, buildings of every age, style and function throw open their doors as part of Heritage Open Days. It is a unique chance to discover architectural treasures and enjoy a wide range of tours, events and activities that bring local history and culture to life.

This year, St Albans Heritage Open Days took place from Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th September and lots of residents and visitors joined in.

For the last 5 years, among the many attractions, on Sunday there has been a Giant Monopoly game across the city centre of St Albans, and this year one of the routes went as far as Sopwell Nunnery, where archers did a demonstration and people could have a go themselves.
