Founded in 2003, the SRA is a non-political and non-profit organisation set up for the benefit of the residents of Sopwell Ward. The work is entirely undertaken by volunteers giving their time and energy for the common good.
The group meets regularly to discuss all things local. We produce a newsletter which goes to ALL Sopwell residents twice a year. We attend the council’s City Neighbourhood Committee meetings. We support local community events, including Larks in the Parks community festival. We have supported the building of the new Cottonmill Community and Cycling Centre.
