Larks in the Parks – Sunday 10 July 2022 – Stall holders wanted!

The last Larks in the Parks festival at the Marlborough Green Space attracted over 1,000 people. This year there will be children’s activities – including donkey rides, local food and refreshments, music and entertainment and local stalls. If you run a local business or activity and would like a stall at our community festival please email Larks in the Parks Sopwell here
New Cottonmill Community and Cycling Centre
This fantastic new centre will open in June 2022. There will be BMX and Cyclo-cross and the brand new St Albans Cycle Hub – with bike maintenance and reconditioned bikes for sale. There is a community cafe and halls for hire. See more on the Cottonmill and Sopwell Hub website here.

The SRA also maintains four noticeboards in the Sopwell area (Vesta Ave shops, Abbots Ave shops, near the Nunnery on Cottonmill Lane, and on the river Ver path at the corner of Sadleir Rd allotments), where you will see posters for local activities.
