The City Neighbourhood Committee (CNC) comprises of 9 Councillors and up to 25 co-opted members from Residents’ Associations and Neighbourhood Forums in the unparished areas, including a representative of the Sopwell Residents Association.
The CNC is an oversight Committee which can debate issues and make recommendations on those issues within the CNC area to the relevant Service Committee or Council. However the Committee has no decision-making function itself.
